10 teams from 5 Littlehampton Area Schools participated in the New Age Kurling competition in February. The teams played 4 other teams in the first round, a round robin tournament and then progressed to the positional play-off games. Matches were extremely close and many games had to be decided by a tie break.
The photograph shows the children from each school proudly showing off their School Games medals – each student was chosen because they showed the most ‘perseverance’ throughout the tournament. This was a very difficult task for the teachers as all pupils tried so hard throughout. Well done everyone!
The Littlehampton Academy Sports Leaders, wearing their new Sports Without Boundaries bibs, were super when officiating and helping to organise the tournament.
