Sport Without Boundaries held their first cross country event in May 2019 and it was a great success. Seven schools participated with teams from both KS2 and KS3 competing with age appropriate courses. While running is often thought of as an individual sport, it was truly a team event and it was wonderful to hear the children cheering each other on and the Sports Leaders encouraging everybody to finish the course!
All participants received certificates, there were also gold, silver and bronze medals awarded, while the winning schools in each key stage received trophies.
