Seven schools participated with teams from both KS2 and KS3 competing with age appropriate courses. While running is often thought of as an individual sport, it was truly a team event and it was wonderful to hear the children cheering each other on and the Sports Leaders encouraging everybody to finish the course!<\/p>\n<p>All participants received certificates, there were also gold, silver and bronze medals awarded, while the winning schools in each key stage received trophies.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; font-family: 'Comic Sans MS';\">\u201cThe children absolutely loved taking part having never been involved in anything like this before.
