67 athletes from 12 schools across the Southern Area Partnership competed in the annual Sport Without Boundaries KS2 competition. The teams competed in obstacle courses, running, jumping and throwing, displaying a variety of impressive skills!

Medals were awarded to an individual from each school who showed the most determination and progress – as ever a very difficult task for teachers to decide.

Huge thanks to Carrie Reynolds from Freedom Leisure for compiling the results into her ‘magical score table’ which accounted for age, gender and ability – the results were as follows:

Gold medal: Georgian Gardens

Silver medal: River Beach

Bronze medal: St Catherine’s

21 teams from schools based in the Littlehampton & Angmering area took part in the New Age Kurling event. Sports leaders from Oak Grove College and The Littlehampton Academy helped officiate the games, score and present certificates & medals. The players competed in one of 3 Round Robin matches in the first round of the event. Then, after watching a very close match between staff and sports leaders they were separated into groups for their last 2 matches.

It was a very tightly competed tournament with Lyminster clinching the gold medal by 1 point!
